Mini Skirt Monday #180: More Lovely Couples

Yes, we've done couples before here on Miniskirt Monday: once in June 2013, and earlier in May 2012. What can I say? It's a particularly fun subject - sizing up the couples, detecting a mismatch, etc.  You also get the often godawful men's fashions as an added bonus.  So, here's yet another "couples" post with 52 pics for the win.  Enjoy.

I can't help but think there's some symbolism here.  The gun, the chess match... what does it all mean?

Is he rubbing himself with that plant?  Yes, I think he is.

It shouldn't take two people to put a record on a turntable, but okay.

The Ladies Man, with a woman at his feet as always.

Ever wonder if men appreciated the miniskirt back in the early 70s, or whether they took it for granted?   Here's your answer: much, much appreciated.

  1. Jeez am I the only one who gets out of bed today?
You're right #20 is creepy, like Carrie White's junior prom picture.

  2. #46 looks like a young David Keith.

  3. A lot of these couples look like they deserve each other; but I think Joe Jackson had Pic #6 in mind when he wrote "Is She Really Going Out With HIm?".

  4. #25: Ann Marie and Donald Hollinger, The High School Years!

  5. Nice little Honda.

Black socks should never be worn with a toga.

Why the 31-34 repeats with slightly different black levels?

BTW, a lot of these look more '60s than '70s. The guys' jeans/shoes, the hair, the dresses.

  6. #36 with the silky long hair, the soft and regular facial features and the go-go boots is pretty much my feminine ideal.

  7. @Dalle Robberts...You are right! Too funny!

  8. #17: "Woman falls off bridge! Film at 11:00!"

  9. I like the guy in #28: he is just a little too small for that suit (and glasses, and hair), but he's trying. Good on ya, kid. He has style.

The woman in #7 should either be pursued or feared. I'm not sure which. I wouldn't know until it was too late.
